Casey Kesselring wins Men's Club
Championship Playoff
On Wednesday, Barry Hammer and Casey
Kesselring played a nine hole playoff to determine the championship. Both
players shot a 33 on the front but Casey edged out Barry with a birdie on the
4th extra hole to take the title. Congratulations Casey!
MENS'S CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
Well, we had a wild and wooly finish to the Men’s Club
Championship this past weekend. Actually,
its not quite finished. Some of the players in the 1st flight, and
all of the players in the championship flight were unable to complete their
rounds due to inclement weather. The decision was made to call this as a 27 hole
tournament.
The only result we don’t have is who actually won the
club championship? Casey Kesselring began the final round four shots back of
Barry Hammer. On the front nine of the second round, Casey fired a nifty 33,
while Barry posted a 37. Hence, we have a tie.
These two players will compete in a 9 hole stroke playoff on Wednesday,
July 30 at 5:00. If tied after 9
holes, they will play a 4 hole stroke playoff. If still tied, they will pay
sudden death. Come on out and watch the action!!
